Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43) joined MSNBC's "All in with Chris Hayes" to discuss her call for peaceful, non-violent protests, to address the president's false claim that she called for "harm," and to demand that the Trump Administration reunite the more than 2500 children that were separated from their parents as a result of Donald Trump's "zero tolerance" policy.

"Absolutely not... I did not call for harm for anybody. The president lied again. As a matter of fact, I believe in peaceful protest. I believe that protest is at the centerpiece of our democracy. I believe that the Constitution guarantees us freedom of speech, and I think that protest is civil.

"Let's focus on the children -- that's what this is all about. It is about the fact that children have been snatched from their parents' arms... and this administration can't tell us where they are.... This administration had better come up with a plan by which to connect these children and their parents. That's what I'm talking about."
